A visit to laboratory at a nuclear power plant where we assessed five different methods in detail, from sample preparation, contamination control, choice of QC blanks and QC sanples, calibration set-up. The people responsible for the methods drafted a report from this assessment which was finalised after comments from us.

A lab visit for two days where the analytical methods for the most important process parameters were assessed. Starting with the process requirements the goal was to assess if the within-lab reproducibility s(Rw) was fit for purpose. The methods were mainly GS.

A visit twice presenting method validation in detail for the persons responsible for the methods and also a 1h introduction for all shift personnel. The coirse was centred on five methods selected by the laboratory. The goal was that the lab could verify that the process requirements were fulfilled with the current methods in use,

A visit to a laboratory having problems with their new ICP. The new instrument was too sensitive and they had started diluting the samples more, getting more contamination problems and high variation in the results. The new ICP with both axial and radial view was set up with only axial view. The solution was to only work in radial view which is less sensitive.
