XRF literature and videos to study

FLUXANA

The company Fluxana supports XRF user.
In the book XRF Analysis: Practical and Easy by Rainer Schramm basic terms and different XRF instruments are presented but focus is sample preparation - the techniques are shown in easy to follow picture steps and real-life applications problems are discussed and tips soon their solutions are given

XRF related monthly webinars (started 2021) to learn more about latest topics and new developments about XRF and XRF sample preparations. FLUXANA webinar are free, 30 minute long interactive trainings sessions and presentations. Here you can register for new and also watch the old recoded webinars. https://fluxana.com/home/webinars

XRF emission LINE and a report on line overlaps

XRF Emission lines

A table of major XRF emission lines can be found here.

Line overlaps using UniQUANT - a semiquantitative software

Even WDXRF, with higher resolution for emission lines with low and medium energies (F Ka to ≈ Pd Ka) compared with EDXRF, have many line overlaps. In a report we have tabulated most of them. In this report a semiquantitative XRF program, Uniquant, is used with instruments setting to get a high resolution. The report from RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden) 2015 is here. Examples of spectra showing line overlaps for Na, P, Co and As - the elemental concentrations are high 40 - 100 %. The y-axis scale is semilogarithmic in order to shown both low and high intensities clearly.
